Tue-pm: Pottery on the wheels

Lisa offers step-by-step guidance for beginner and intermediate students interested in learning pottery wheel (throwing) techniques. You will learn to make functional pottery including cups, bowls, vases and plates etc.  A variety of decorative and  glazing options are available at this conveniently located Danforth studio 

  • Fall 1 session: September 19 to October 24, 2017
  • Fall 1 session: November 7 to December 12
  • Winter session: January 23 to February 27, 2018
  • Spring session: March 20 to April 24
  • Summer session: May 8 to June 12

Fee: $300 for 6 weeks 

Our price includes clay, double firing and glazing, not Hst

Classes is limited to 5 participants (one per wheel)

Bio: Lisa has lived and worked in Toronto’s east end for over 20 years. She studied and graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design specializing in printmaking and ceramics. She then opened one of the first ceramic arts studios in Danforth’s east end. Here she taught clay classes, both hand building and wheel throwing to adults and children as well as participating and running a shared studio space for local ceramic artists. Lisa has been an studio member and instructor at LucSculpture for the past 5 years where she continues to focus on pottery.
