Painting: Work on opposite imprimatura base, underpainting. Work largest brush as long as possible, then move to medium then smallest. Establish defined palette combinations. In oil dark to light, in water media light to dark. Acrylic either way (but use as oil on canvas.) Perspective involves the dropping out of certain colors in recession. Often light towards dark horizon, then light horizon towards dark overhead. Translating Scale, Day to Night, Night scenes, Synesthesia and Sound in Visual Art
