Framing Workshop

Framing workshop with instructor Tony Sladden

Saturday December 16, 2017 and June 9, 2018 from 9:30 to 4:00 pm 

Fee: $140 + 13% taxes + $25 supplies fee

An opportunity to frame your own work and learn the professional skills!

-measure your prints/art works
-cut a single opening mat (limited to 16 x 20)
-cut a double mat and to mount a print
-cut a mat with a V groove
-cut a glass
-demonstrate and fit a finished piece into a frame

Tony Sladden was born and raised in the Caribbean on the island of Trinidad. He migrate to Canada in 1969. Tony loves photography and in the process had the opportunity to learn about picture framing. In 1995, Tony opened his own photography and framing gallery, Tony Sladden Photography & Custom Picture Framing, in the east end of the city of Toronto which he ran successfully until 2003. Tony has recently expanded his natural creative and artistic abilities into furniture restoration and refinishing. His works can still be seen in various publications, private collections, photography competitions and displays around the city.
