Discover painting with light. Combine a delicate glass surface with vibrant paints to create magical artwork.
There is no painting experience required for this course. The small classes will allow a lot of individual attention as well as group learning. You will start with simple exercises that will teach you how to use relief outliner, mix colours and create texture. These exercises will help you bring your own wonderful ideas to existence in your final project.
Bio: Tasneem Dairywala’s work is a response to her environment and often blends binaries to produce new meaning and hope for a better future. Her paintbrushes act as her magic wand, giving her the power to explore and look in all the nitty-gritty corners of the expected, the ordinary and the sane. She paints the Canadian landscape with floral henna patterns to create decorative yet conceptual paintings that are inspired by traditional Pakistani art as well as contemporary Canadian art.
