This course will explore how colour  and composition work with each other. While creating studies on colour we will also explore composition. The difference between compositions that are dynamic vs. static, calm vs. tense and flat vs. deep within a given image. We will paint true primary, secondary and tertiary colours along with analogous and complimentary colours. Along the way we will gain colour language from hue, warm , cool,   tint, tone, intensity , simultaneous contrast, lustre, luminosity and what each colour’s value is on the grey scale.   We will also look at Colour Theorists, Itten, Munsell, and Goethe. This course is also designed to create useful colour wheels and value scales that help you further understand what your chosen palette can do while also creating fabulous studies for future painting.
