  • Tuesdays 10:00 am – 1:00 pm 
  • Thursday 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
  • Friday 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Saturdays 2:00  – 5:00 pm

Cheryl offers a gentle step-by-step guide for beginners in pottery, and shares creative, inspiring ideas to advanced potters. She teaches hand building, wheel techniques and various glazing options both in English and French.

Introductory session on the wheel: $60 per 3 hours including demonstration + $7 for clay and firing
The hourly rate for the wheel with instruction  is at $20 and $10 without instruction

Glazing workshops: Dec14, Jan25, Feb15, Mar22, Apr19, May17 and June14 from 2 to 4 pm (preregistration necessary)

Cost for glazing: $15 per person for the demonstration, firing and glazing $3 per small cup or bowl or according to the size

Cout de l’atelier glazure: 15$ par personne pour la démontration,  cuisson et glazure: 3$ par petite tasse ou bol ou en fonction de la taille.

Cheryl arrived in Toronto 3 years ago coming directly from Nice, France where she was settled living, teaching and creating for some 20 years. Cheryl holds a BFA from the Emily Carr Institute of Art, Vancouver, BC and a Masters of education from Pace University, N Y. She studied ceramics for 2 years with Jean Roy at the Ecole des Beaux arts in Vallauris, France. Following her own path of self expression in various forms of 2 and 3 dimensional mediums, most recently she had an installation of her ceramics in La Gaude and St Paul de Vence, France and is preparing for its sequel in Saskatchewan. She taught IB Art, IGCSE and basic art classes to all age groups at the International School of Nice throughout the years since 1989.
