Tuesdays 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm 
Thursday 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Friday 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

& Saturdays 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 4 pm

Cheryl offers a gentle step-by-step guide for beginners in pottery, and shares creative, inspiring ideas to advanced potters. She teaches hand building, wheel techniques and various glazing options both in English and French.

Cost
3 hours x 6 classes for $180 (valid for 12 weeks) + clay and firing (glaze is included).
The hourly rate for the wheel is at $20

Instructor: Cheryl Lobe-Therias

Cheryl arrived in Toronto 3 years ago coming directly from Nice, France where she was settled living, teaching and creating for some 20 years. Cheryl holds a BFA from the Emily Carr Institute of Art, Vancouver, BC and a Masters of education from Pace University, N Y. She studied ceramics for 2 years with Jean Roy at the Ecole des Beaux arts in Vallauris, France. Following her own path of self expression in various forms of 2 and 3 dimensional mediums, most recently she had an installation of her ceramics in La Gaude and St Paul de Vence, France and is preparing for its sequel in Saskatchewan. She taught IB Art, IGCSE and basic art classes to all age groups at the International School of Nice throughout the years since 1989.
