Art as Therapy
On Wednesdays 4-5 pm
Fall session I: September 24 to October 29
Fall session II: November 5 to December 10
Cost: $150 (+ HST) for six weeks (materials included)
To reserve your space, a non-refundable deposit of $90 is required at the time of registration with the balance due on the first day of the workshop. (You may also pay for the entire workshop in advance).

Space limited to 6 participants (ages 13-21)
Participants will have the opportunity to use art media (e.g. paint, pastels) to creatively express themselves. Rather than being an instructional class, our focus will be on feelings experienced during the process of art creation, self-expression and sensory regulation. Skill or experience in the arts is not a requirement.
Instructor: Karen Freud, BA, TATI, RCAT
Karen is a Registered Art Therapist who holds a BA from York University and a Graduate Level Diploma from The Toronto Art Therapy Institute. Since 2001, Karen’s work has involved conducting both individual and group art therapy sessions for children, teens and adults within a number of community organizations including social service agencies, community centres, hospitals, and long-term care settings.
