While the course will focus on a more realistic rendering of the human form, those wanting to explore a more exaggerated, stylized or abstract approach to figure sculpting are also welcome to do so. Great emphasis will be put on proportions, planar structure, anatomy, sculptural design esthetic and finishing. All the basic tools and techniques of sculpting in clay will be covered.
