Intuitive Art Workshops for LGBTQ

Saturdays, December 7th (2019) 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Instructor: Natasha Sudenis

Unleash your creativity! This ain’t no paint night! Here we WANT to paint outside of the lines and create something uniquely our own. The purpose of having an LGBTQ+ allies only workshop offers a creative, therapeutic, and social networking outlet that is community specific and resilience focused.

Intuitive painting is letting go of having a plan or doing what we think we ought to. It means grabbing the brush and following your body, your senses, and feelings, and allowing for something to emerge. It helps us quiet down the inner critic and listen more carefully to our own wisdom. Through this process, we can better learn how to practice self-compassion, presence, and connection to ourselves and others.

Natasha will lead you through some warmups and visualizations to awaken your senses and then you will immerse yourself in painting. This will be a safe and supportive environment and I will be there to answer any questions or concerns along the way. We will have a short break to socialize or snack, then we will continue painting until our closing circle.

Fee: $80 + HST (includes supplies & tools) registration necessary!
