Glazing workshops: January 24, February 21,  March 21, April 17, May 16, and June 20 from 2 to 4 pm (pre-registration necessary)

Another option for the kids is to come during the Saturday morning pottery class to do the glazing at $25 a session (Call prior to check availability)

Join us for our monthly glazing workshop and add the final touch to your clay artworks. Glazing make the shiny coat on the clay and make clay to be waterproof.

The final piece can be a great gift to people you love!

Cost for glazing: $25 per person all inclusive (demonstration, firing, glazing and taxes -$3 per small cup or bowl or according to the size-

Instructor: Dianne Lee

DianneLee5Instructor Dianne Lee is a Canadian ceramic artist and instructor based in Toronto’s historic Corktown neighborhood. Dianne studied ceramics at the Ontario College of Art and Design from 2002-2006. Since graduating Dianne lived and work in England for 3 years, during that time she interned with British Pottery Deborah Baynes, visited multiple pottery studios and traveled all over Europe. Dianne also found herself in New Zealand for a year where she was a member of the Wellington Potter’s Association. Dianne is now a full time studio artist who makes functional work, collaborates with other artists and independently developed her own conceptual art projects. Her pottery embodies elements of playful exploration, functionality and surprise. All her work is wheel-thrown and assembled or altered during the throwing process. Dianne continuously explores a range of ideas from contemporary issues to traditional pottery with an emphasis on process and context.
