Ancient Art & Craft Recipes with Cheryl (age: 6 to 13)
Fall Session: September 15 to October 27
Winter Session: November 3 to December15
Children will discover ways to make projects in arts and crafts using ancient techniques and recipes found in different cultures throughout history.
Children will explore a range of mediums and materials including; drawing, painting, collagraph printmaking, wire ring jewelry, secret sidewalk chalk, herbal bath salts, Mehndi hand designs, clay amulets and more. This class can be taught both in French and English.
Cost: $120 (7-week sessions) or $ 25 (drop-in)

Instructor: Cheryl Lobe-Therias
Cheryl arrived in Toronto 3 years ago coming directly from Nice, France where she was settled living, teaching and creating for some 20 years. Cheryl holds a BFA from Emily Carr Institute of Art, Vancouver, BC and a Masters of education from Pace University, NY. She taught IB Art, IGCSE and basic art classes to all age groups at the International School of Nice throughout the years since 1989. Cheryl also teaches pottery for adults and watercolour at LucSculpture.
