Figure Drawing Made Easy

On Thursday evening 6:30 to 9:00 pm

Dates TBA

LIFE DRAWING INSTRUCTION
The human body because of its complexity presents the ultimate challenge for artists.  Artists such as illustrators, fashion designers and animators all need a basic grounding in life drawing. Therefore, life drawing is valued as an essential part of a good portfolio.

This course will enhance the individual’s skill in figurative drawing through the study of anatomy, proportion and movement. With instruction and practice, students will refine their observation and rendering skills and gain confidence. Each class will start out with quick gesture drawings, followed by extended studies. A wide range of media will be used in the course, including graphite, conte, chalks, marker and watercolor. In this way, students can explore the expressive effect of each media to determine which is best suited to their personal style. Most materials are supplied-students only need to bring their own paper.

Cost: $320.00 for 7 weeks (including Model fees and material except for paper pads)
