Painting for Intermediate
INTERMEDIATES’ CLASS ~
Gary can help each more advanced artist develop her/his own individual style within this amicable setting. Gary’s educational strategy to help your style evolve is to delve more deeply into 18 Design Elements, Principles and Artist Considerations taught at one per class over three 6-week Intermediate levels. By the end of the 18 weeks, you will be clear about what your current style is and be ready for personal career mentoring.
Whether you an amateur who loves to paint and sometimes sells or a seasoned professional you will be further enriched by this deeper focus.
Monday afternoon 1 to 4 pm and Monday evening 6:30 to 9:30 pm
Spring 1 Session: March 18 to April 29 (off April 1st),
Price: $210 for 6 weeks
Spring 2 Session: May 6 to June 24 (off May 20th),
Price: $245 for 7 weeks

Gary’s classroom is a safe place to experiment and try exercises that bring awareness of visual concepts. You will be delighted with the experience.

Instructor: Gary Smith
BA in Fine Art, Teacher Degree and Art Supervisor Certificate. An artist and art coach who is a graduate from The Faculty of Art, Guelph University and teaches Drawing and Painting at LucSculpture, does murals and portraits and exhibits frequently. His work is carried by Libby Gallery in Toronto and Gallery on the Bay in Hamilton. Gary also founded CLUB DRAW for Life Drawing which is offered at LucSculpture on Sundays. He also offers unique “Escape with Gary Art Workshop here in Canada and abroad.
