I will teach you how to create beautiful mosaic pieces, using ceramic tile or glass mosaic tiles (tesserae). Learning the skills of this ancient craft, you can create decorative or functional pieces, for your home or to give as gifts.
I will show you how to find inspirational visuals, then adapt them for your mosaic.
The class is suited to beginners, but those with previous experience are welcome to join.
We will create a fun enjoyable space to develop our project, and you may find yourself wanting to create further pieces!
Your materials will likely cost between $40 and $75 overall:
You will require your own tile nippers, tiles, adhesive, and backing surface, and I will provide a surface to work and the grout on your design.

Instructor Felicia Cohen:
Felicia is a fine arts professional who has worked in Photography and Fashion industries, and trained in mosaic skills in London (UK). She has given workshops in London and Toronto , and is currently a Gallery Guide at the Art Gallery of Ontario, where she gives tours of the AGO’s diverse collections.
Felicia is a Mosaic artist, as well as a knitter and textile artist. She has created large scale mosaic pieces for home and garden.She is passionate about both Fine Art and Craft, and enjoys sharing her passion with others.
