When Worlds Collide

About the facilitators, both of whom are Post Graduates of the Training Program at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto.

Luisa de Amaral

Luisa’s passion for travel and education has taken her across many borders. She completed her M.D. in Portugal and currently has a part-time individual/group psychotherapy practice. She has skills in identifying innards of existential health, which she shares in a playful manner. She divides her time between Gestalt and promoting awareness for self, life and others in environmental and social justice issues.

Mario Lourenco

Mario was born in Lisbon where he graduated with a BFA in Theatre. In Canada he’s weaved his knowledge of performing arts into a path of healing arts, moving slowly from the preemptory Art for the Sake of Art to a branch of Art for the sake of Health. He has been running groups in Gestalt and its applications to theatre. He also works at the Abrigo Centre as a counsellor for men charged with domestic violence and as a freelance reporter for OMNI TV.
