Fluid Acrylic Beginners/Students/Artists Wake up your inner creativity…
You are going to have the very best time pouring paint. Even if you have already done
pours you will be surprised and delighted by what you do.
There are so many ways to pour paint. If you did it for weeks, you would still not run out of
new ways of working. Your agenda will include as many of these as you can squeeze
into the two days of the workshops. Your mission is to learn the essential techniques of making large and small cells, rings and other novel formations as you pour, and to use all the amazing products available to create them.
Just to whet your appetite you will do puddle pours, blowing and heating techniques, dirty pours, dish soap pours, flip cup techniques, bottle techniques, swipe cup and spatula pours, ring pours, colander pours, multi-cup pours, spin techniques all on smaller canvases. You will paint approximately 5 canvases per day.
Your knowledge of the materials and your skill level will increase substantially. There is
a really good reason why this is the most popular form of art-making right now. It is such a great opportunity to have all the materials to work with. Your instructor will provide them.
You will go away with SO much new information about Controlled Pours: what you need to do them, where to get the supplies, and the many techniques and tips to spark and maintain your Interest and creativity!
